Excellent! I think the combo of the white(being so bright it's bluish like snow) and the black being so midnight that it's purplish when lightened makes the neon blue in the sunlight. It's funny that now you could add yellows, oranges, creams and turn that grey into Air Adventurer blonde. Flock is crazy like that!

The thing that gets about the gray is...I have a head hear, that when I put it under the scope there are only two colors black & white and on the head it looks salt & pepper not so much a blended gray, but definitely not purple or blue.
Any explanations as to why?

It depends on what spectrum the black and white were made. If you used a raw white (which is like a cream color) and a black from the dark brown spectum it'll turn out salt and pepper with 2 colors.
Since my white is a brilliant white (like say pure snow) it leads toward blue. There are whites that lean towards pinks. On the black mine lean towards purples and reds (ebony). The reason is if you bleach out a vintage Andventurer head or have one faded by play and time, in many instances yo will see deep reds or even purples on the head. When I put my gray haired Hair club joe under the glass you can see a brown hue that is not visable in normal light, but years ago when I had one done it had a blue hue. So depending on the base dye used on the flock it will effect the outcome of mixes.

Using a cream white and a base dye from the brown spectrum, this is the black and white mix result! Attachments:
