Thanks Flock Man for all your valuable info and advice on this forum, I wouldn't have gotten this far without your help. I flocked this figure with some shorter fibers. I got the flock kit from Flock Concepts on eBay but I'm saving those for my Joes lol. Gotta practice making beards and goatees next.

Very Nice! Hey, That's a cool head sculpt. Perfect flock size for that style head if you ask me. The whole look just works. I have to get some shorter fibers for just this type of head. I love the vintage Joe size flock, but for many newer heads a shorter fiber looks awesome. Great Job!! Thanks for the post. Ray

Excellent Work. I agree the short hair looks great on some figure more so than on others. You have to have the long flock for GIjOE.
If you don't mind me asking where did you get the short flock from?

If you don't mind me asking where did you get the short flock from? I got the short flock from restoredoll.com I want to try mixing the long & short flock for a square flat top look. I just flocked a vintage Man of Action head and it doesn't look half bad. I need more practice, I want to get to the point where I can't tell a Hasbro from a reflock.

Yea, or do like a fade in using that short flock then go to 1 mm (donjer has it) and end up at 2mm. I need to try the shorter flocks. I have this idea of doing some multi-color flocking on the lines of action-burt, but with different size flock. Like the side burns in short power flock- then the side of the head in 1/2 or 1 mm and then get to 3 or 4 mm at the top on say, a German Dragon figure, so it's like comb-able at the top, but could be fly away looking depending on the Dio setup or photo shoot.
Maybe the real short for a 5-oclock shadow.
I have some emails asking if I'll flock the new AT 3 3/4 Joes with fine flock. I need to practice it first and maybe see if I can mix some colors a little.
I just went to that site and ordered $35+ in flock to test out some custom ideas. I'd like it for eyebrows too. I've done some eyebrows with my flock and they look like sh*t because they are too long.
