Hello Tim, I'm basically offering these for the supplier in Spain so the price is set to what it is. My end and even the suppliers end is very low profit vs cost, but the supplier and I see these hands as a stepping stone to some great GeyperMan/GIjOE type stuff down the road and over the long haul it may turn into a profit (which in turn will open up new avenues for even more items.) So at this point the prices are what they are. I decided to run with this because of it's future potential for more great things to come if everything comes together. Besides a ton of collectors need good solid Grip style hands to replace the cracked and missing finger hands they have. Down the line we may be looking at wrist pegs, Arms, etc. Just know the hands are awesome and tough. I've replaced good pliable hands with these and sealed up the vintage hands for safe keeping. Now I don't have to worry about damaging the vintage hands. Normally these would sell in Europe only and for much more. I worked out a deal for the USA to get the ball rolling here. Why should we miss out on the great Joe type stuff that's being made around the world. I think of it like this- you could sit and wait and have figures on your shelf with no hands or crappy falling apart hands or grab these for a low price with free USA shipping and start enjoying your collection. IF you luck out and find vintage hands down the road for a good price- sell or trade these off to someone else. These are made from the original Geyperman molds, but a better material is used so they will last. That's just my collectors thought on it. Plus we have a chance here to get in on a project at ground level- that down the line could turn out to be really amazing. I'm thinking maybe whole figures made with the 60's/70's molds not reproductions. Who knows! I'm hoping! I'm not the one making this great stuff. I can't take credit for that, but I'm trying to bring it here to benefit all of us. Heck, look at the great path Cotswold is taking with their A.T. style line. Greg is doing awesome work with it. As collectors we are finally getting out of the rut of paying top dollar for broken stuff and we can even enjoy the collections instead of just looking at them sealed in a bunch of totes in the attic or watching old commercials saying, "Wow! I wish!" Plus now you can still stay hardcore and pure, but also build a side collection of usable Joes to enjoy.
Sorry I get excited about the possibilities of the hobby. It's not all dollars, cents, and values to me anymore.
I'll tell you, My son brought some Joes to the beach and not only did the other kids go wild, some of the Dads as well.

Ray, excuse my novice skills, but can you share some tips on how to attach these hands. I am trying to attach them to a MB forearm.
Thanks

I first spread the slot open over both pins. then I use a rounded flat tool (the rounded end of a plastic/ metal fingernail file. and carefully push the end into the space between the wrist and pin. Then I do the same on the other side. It may take a bit of practice at first, but once you get the knack of it- it gets easier. I'll try to get some pictures later today.

Key is to go easy. I can't tell you how many times I destroyed the wrist and a vintage KFG hand trying to put it on without opening the forearm and taking out the pin peg. We all know how easy it is to wreck a pair of vintage hands and or chew up the wrist plastic.

Got my hands now, and the first figure that got a pair was the Atomic Man. I like them I find them to be somewhere between wally KFG and original KFG. The original being to soft and the Wally being to hard. So if they stand the test of time they'll be perfect!

Just got my order today. Wow! they're great! The material feels a lot like what the later Action Man hands are made of. Very tough but not too hard. And the color goes nicely with muscle body Joes. I really hope you can get these in a good AA skin tone eventually

I need to get a pile of these for my guys, and now they come for the AA figures to. The ones I got in the first batch are great, couldn't ask for anything better. Problem is I cant read the lingo in the Spanish board, I know you have to register but it may as well be written in alien! Gonna have to put on my "Rosetta stone" hat and do some translating.

I use the Translate option in IE. It works good for the most part, but many of the slang terms I tend to use may translate oddly or may even appear rude- so I try to choose the wording to make them very straight forward. Also Windows 7 ultimate has some gadget apps that translate currency, etc.

It's great to see African American hands available! How do these compare to the Action Man 40th Nostalgia gripping hands ?
