Is it just me or do any of you fine people have problems with letting figures go? What I mean is...say your working out a deal and the other fella says " how about you toss in a couple of figures" whoa, whoa, whoa...what is all this crazy talk about tossing in figures? People ask to buy them (which I don't mind) from time to time. It's just that I seem to have an attachment to the figures, now vehicles and other things not a problem, if I have extras. Maybe I'm a little OCD or something...lol

I used to be that way for years, but then I would look at Joes basically being wasted in totes and I would sell one or two. Now it's not an issue for me (well with loose or reflocked Joes). Anything boxed or sealed is off limits. Some friends bug me about this, but it's a task taking things out after they've been packed away. Then there is the "Son" factor- if he sees too much he's stay on me until I open it. I think it is an OCD thing! This is why the "Trade items" or ebay purchased loose items are awesome to me because they are for my Son and I to use. I've also been really digging the A.T. themed Cotswold stuff. I found out some inside info. on why Hasbro doesn't load the store shelves with A.T. stuff and why it most likely never will again so the Cotswold and Club stuff is about all we'll see- at least here in the USA. My Son got me thinking after I heard him call the Cotswold catalog the "GIjOE Book" You know it really is the GIjOE book. In light of this I've been putting together a Cots Adventure Team. The one thing I'm liking is the freedom. I have always felt that I've had to put certain clothes on certain Joes because that's how they were when new. With these Cots Joes, I've added scars and you can mix and match the gear. I know you can do this with vintage, but forgive me I'm too set in my ways. A Sea Adventurer just doesn't look right to me in Land adventurer camo, but a Cots flocked red head geared up in camo or a white Jumpsuit looks cool to me. I just hope the A.T. theme takes off for Cotswold because it would be cool to see more gear and clothes come out.
