I know epoxy glue is the best, but what did Hasbro/Palitoy/geyper etc use for the heads?
They look like a very thin glues, some of them can be scraped easily, some are harder to remove, but not as hard as epoxy. Do you know what was it?

In some circles we’ve talked about this many times. Someone showed me an old purchase order that said, “polyurethane- adhesive”, but I tend to believe it was a thin automotive solvent based epoxy along the lines of what they use for dashboards and glove boxes. I also believe they used an etch solution (hence the textured glue stain). I think the original product used was much stronger because some heads are really tough to clean off. Other heads strip off very easy. I say the thin epoxy because I’ve used this un-modified at one point and it acted the exact same way as the original glue. In the end it comes down to a prep thing. The prep of the head is the biggest part of the glue up.

Residues on the easier heads to peel off is very thin and it penetrates well. I'd bet it is a solvent-based glue...
