I came across an old 1940's sewing machine and messed around with it getting it to work. Once it was working I looked around to find something to sew and downloaded a pattern for a Jump suit. I can't say off hand who made the pattern, but gladly with post the author if he/she or someone knows who. This is my first attempt. Not the greatest, but not too bad with very limited sewing machine experience. It's a little out of line here and there, but I think I can do better with some practice. Here it is formerly a pair of tan shorts- now an AT Jumpsuit. The shorts zipper was a bit big and it took me a while to figure out which pieces to sew together first. I have definitely gained a great deal of respect for people you do this. Attachments:

Nice Job! I've sewn stuff as well but not a whole outfit. It looks like it's original!

Thanks, It is a little crooked here and there, but I was happy to see I could do it. As with anything some practice and I'll have it. On future tries I'm going to cut the pants legs about a 1/4 inch longer. I did the sleeves 1/4 inch longer than the pattern only because they looked a little short when I cut the paper pattern out. I'd like to incorporate some pockets, an elastic at the waist, and a few pleats in on the top back. A smaller zipper would be good too. I just down loaded some Star Trek patterns also to make some MEGO clothes. I did a test on the wrist stripes using some gold ribbon and it works very good. After you sew the ribbon on- you just have to trim it with a scissor and it looks great. Once the sleeve is sewn they go full circle. Pretty fun. Attachments:

Excellent link Traud. His work is awesome! I too need to rework the sizing. My first runs on the Trek uniforms are pretty bad, but I have good handle on them now (at least in theory). Here are the first run crud. The difference from the Joe jump suit was the pattern. I have no pattern for 1/6 th trek clothes, but am working out the mego patterns to 1/6th. Attachments:
