Here is my new favorite way to attach vintage heads to a classic collection body. What I really like about this way is that there is no glue so you can reuse or swap the head out later, and there is no teflon tape. I've found that T-tape works...but most of the time the fit just isn't so great and more ofter than not you get some head wobble, I know that you don't notice the wobble when the figure is sitting on the shelf...but I know it's there. So here is what I am doing from now on. First, get your head and a CC body, and pick up some of those little rubber "O" rings. What is important here is that you get the correct size. I noticed that there were about 3 that looked like the same size at a quick glance, but some were a little thicker or thinner. You may want to get all 3 sizes to account for some head shrinkage. Next, place the "O" ring on the inside retention on the vintage neck hole like so.... Then push the head onto the body. Make sure you give it a few good twists to get the neck post over the "O" ring

If anybody tries this out... Let me know how you like or dislike the idea. I've done a bunch of figures and never had a problem yet.
