Here is the easiest way I've found to get the lint out of GIjOEs flocked head. I use my air compressor. Here he is half way done so you can see how the flock collects.

It's always amazing to me how much lint flocked heads collect. Sometimes removing the lint exposes rubs that are not seen when you bought the Joe. I remember a guy who used to buy rayon or wool doll hair in red, brown, blond, and black to lint up heads to hide small rubs and thin spots.

That's what I've found, after the head is cleaned of lint I'm seeing little rubs and thin spots that I didn't see before. That colored wool and hair... is a little low-ball but at the same time it's a great idea. Just shows you how inventive some people can be.
