I have a funny story about the pricing. I saw this posted on a blog and copied and pasted it in a notepad. I thought I had pasted the source, but looking at it now I guess I didn’t. I see that some of the posters are also members of other sites and forums (going by the nick names which I left out). It may be funny to see if some are members here as well. After I told one of the posters who used the reflock service that I read this blog and thanked him for his support. The blog was gone!!!

My take on this all is, I wonder what goes through the minds of some?
I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but to have an opinion about something you haven't tried or at least researched is hard for me to understand.
I know that some out there are dead set against all this and maybe even against me, but the concept works. Granted it may not be a perfect system for all, but it works if you are motivated to really get into it as many on this site have. I do it daily with the same flock that I sell.
On the reflock side- I thought of what I used to do and want from a reflock service and I've tried to do that.
What I used to want!
I wanted to be able to be kept in the loop on what is happening with the heads.
I wanted questions answered ASAP!
I wanted colors that matched vintage (or as close as possible)
I wanted it all at a price for multiple heads that didn't break the bank. ( I would wait and send out at least 4 or 5 at a time)
instead I would spend $80+ for a batch of heads- wait a month and not know what was going on.
I've worked out a system that avoids this and makes really happy when you heads come back home.
I don't mix orders with others to save time (like doing all the LA first then the SA's, etc.) I do the first order, then the next, then the next and so on. everything gets labeled. I also treat them with care as if they are may own! Thanks Ray Flock Concepts!

Ya, but Ray it's for $15!!!!!! Some people want everything. It's about as bad as when I hear people go on & on about how XXXX has an "EXACT MATCH" for GIjOE flocking...and we all know about that. So...this guy has posted the blog and he gets you to flock his heads? I was just wondering about the process of how/who took down the blog that's all. Sometimes my mind wonders a little too much! ;D

Also, I forgot to mention that as far as I'm concerned you have gone above and beyond the great flocking service that you provide. So I just want to Thank you again for helping me out on those little ventures. It is greatly appreciated! ;D

I know $15 for 1 verses $29.99 (ebay) $25.00 (forum) for 5... lol that math logic adds up. I hope he's not a tax acountant.
Ya know it's funny... all I wanted to do is get this flocking thing out and make it as easy as it can be and make it so people weren't afraid (meaning afraid to look stupid) to ask and talk about something that has been on the minds of most A.T. collectors since they were kids. I've said it before I've gotten a thumbs up from most reflockers and in if they wanted to talk shop I've been more than happy to. The way I see it is most of us have little groups of guys/gals we deal with in this hobby. So say a few in that group learn this and offer it to their pals and others do the same and so on everyone gets what they need. Some may not trust a stranger to them reflocking their Joe's, but a flocker in their circle would do just fine. I just hope that all this brings the bar up a little and future guys take it up even more. The people that try this stuff even if they fail at first get respect from all of us because we've all been there, but people that dismiss it out of hand I have trouble with. Not everyone likes reflocks. Not everyone like my reflocks. Some only like reflocks from their selected flocker. I agree with that totally (if someone has luck and is happy with this flocker or that one, that's awesome) This is just a safe harbor for like minded people. I thought my flocks were really looking good so I figured others may like them also. I had certain things I've always wanted from reflocks and reflockers that I had done in the past and I tried to offer that. Now if the they were saying, "I like xxxxx xxxxxxxxxx the best for my heads." I would agree with their choice, who ever you fill in the blank with. I agree with their opinions because to each his own, but at least say, "I just like xxxxxxxxx!" Don't come up with some foolish reason that basically makes no sense (to me at least). A simple, "yea that looks pretty good, but I like my guy better." is a perfect reason (again my thoughts). I don't know maybe it's just me. I like mine the best now so I may be jaded on the subject, but I do agree with a collectors personal opinion and freedom of that opinion. If you're a flocker already join in and talk shop with all of us and what we've done here. I say we because basically I rolled a small snow ball and all of you took it and made it a monster snowball and in an odd way the critics of this added to it all. One thing you can say Traud, when you look at a dirty balding Joe is... "hey I can make that look new again." Why, because long ago (before you joined in here) you had a brainstorm that you could do this and you made it happen. One my end I hear, "I've wanted to do this for a long time." and they turn that want into action. For some it jump started their collecting again after years of saying, "oh well, I'll never afford a Joe that looks like that." Now they have the Joe the way they wanted either by doing it themselves or by having one of us do it for them. Even my own thoughts on flocking have changed. Truth be told I have never thought much of custom colors like gray or white, etc., but now I look at them differently.
Traud, I never thought of the whole thing being some kind of play on me ( think that's where you were going above)?? Hmmm??? At any rate I he paid I did the heads, he flipped out and loved them so if it was I don't know how it worked. Anyway, Thank for the support Traud and to those that emailed me. I just thought the reasons in the blog were out of whack and it's the main reason I posted it.
Ya know what's funny? (this is because I get a lot of orders from the UK) I like Action Burts custom stuff and the orders I get from the UK are mostly Sea Adventurers and Air Adventurers. I think it's because collectors in the UK are looking for GIjOE style because they have a ton of Action Man style. I'm sure Burt gets the reverse from the States. I like how he comes up with these custom colors and two and three color combinations. I'd talk shop with that guy anytime.

Some events (which I don't want to get into) took place which lead me to think this was a grand plan of a few to, in the end get something for nothing or else I take a feedback hit and or other crap. Pisses me right the F' off. Creepy stuff will force me to make broad rules about the whole process and take the fun right out of it.
