Would it be feesible to maybe do a group order from the Nytex(sp) people? Maybe several orders may get lower rates...? Just an Idea.

Yes, I thought of this also, but one thing we have to remember is; as the price of the glue goes down with a larger order- the shipping price goes up because Haz-mat shipping rates kick in. Smaller amounts can be shipped ORM-D (consumer commodity).
At least this is what I'm told about it, but the idea does open some possibilities on ordering flock. My thinking is- it's a hassle to get flock in the base colors that I dye (meaning if I order my solid colors, $300 worth is considered a small order), but that could be up to 20 pounds of flock. (just thinking as I type here) There is a source that will do 10 lbs for $150. USD (one color) so if they can match some of my base colors, brown, cream, dark yellow, orange, and match the UK type black... heh, your still talking, what $900 or 60 pounds. That's quite a bit of flock- with a high sticker price for most hobby flockers. Plus side is easier mixing of colors (from the base colors they offer now) and a larger range on the humidity end (45% - 85%+) So to make it work for most hobby flockers you would need like, 18 willing to fork over $50 a pop. or people willing to buy multiple shares for a bigger piece of the flocking pie. This leads me into the whole area of a Flocking Club where every member is skilled in flocking (all information is shared with members) and the club as a whole gains some power and momentum in the various action figure communities and with Toy companies to remake and develop new flocked figures. From what I see since this started mega-amounts of collectors prefer a flocked headed figure. Even Painted head die-hards like them and it makes me wonder why there are not more in the toy stores. We see collectors dropping $100+ a pop on the few figures offered that come with some tid-bit accessories- you would think that more figures would be produced at lower prices. IT's the choice of trying to make a million dollars on a few items at $200 or make a million on a million items at a $1. I know, that some of these 1/6th figures selling a $200 a shot can be sold for less. When I run some of the numbers with various companies I see what it costs (depending on amount wanted of course). IF they brought these figures down to earth I know they would sell more. lol! My late night soap box rant from a simple question sorry. I guess in short- I'm game for anything that doesn't put us in the poor house with this flocking addiction...lol!
