A day in the yard with my son with some reflocked GIjOES, a Training Tower (sent to me from forum member Traud), and some ice cream (as seen all over my son, lol…. What else is there?
Looks like you were having a great time. The tower looks fantastic in those pics. I notice an Atomic man in the mix you don't really want him do you... ;D Oh ya...the flocks look great BTW.
The tower and the Joe's look great in the bright sunlight. I know your son must think all this stuff is cool. I remember doing the same with my friends in the 70's. I still have my tower with everything except for the box. My son is younger, but he's interested in all the figures. He's always trying to get into my display case. I can't wait till he's older so he can play with them.

Thanks guys! I have the tower in the box sealed and two sets of tower pieces, but was always missing a loose top part to actually use.
It was a special day to me because the last time I played with a GIjOE tower was with my brothers as a kid (my brother Michael passed away when he was 7 yrs old) So to relive those fun times we did have again with my son really made the day. Something about Joe in the grass... he just belongs there rolling around, ya know? lol... ya know I always get rid of the loose Mike Power, but this time I think I'm going to keep him.
Side note: after the fun was over and everything was put away- my son tripped on his slide and ended up with a shiner under his right eye. My wife asked where was I... lol! "Right next to him", I said! Such is the way of kids!

Something we used to do as kids, but our Joes would end up bald because of it. Now it's not a worry. I don't know what would happen if you just left them in there for a few days, but they held up great it the water. I wash the heads quick anyway after the flock dries on reflocks so I didn't think the pool would hurt them- plus my son takes all his in the tub.
