How well it works... I haven't tested it, but by the video and the pictures I'd say it looks pretty damn good. Talented collectors everywhere! Link was forwarded to me by Jay! Thanks! www.shout.net/~scg/cigcc/pages/meeting22.html

It's not that it is a bad set up. I think that is one of the kits that Donjer sells on their site. The big problem is going to be hair shedding and the fact that the glue will just peel off. I tried the Arleens fabric glue when I first started, it's a great glue just not for flocking. Having said all that it is a blast to just DIY We all have to star somewhere and using the model grass is what i first used...in fact I still have two bottles in the garage just sitting there still! I can remember the satisfaction I had when I did my first head ;D then the disappointment I had when I found out the glue didn't hold well

I was sent this link and thought it a cool idea because it gets people into the project. Once they try it they'll want better and so on. I've use that glue also way back (then again I don't know of any that I have not used) and found it doesn't hold well. Then again if you're going to pick at the finished head nothing will stay put. I tend to be super critical on the adhesives since I haven't found one that doesn't come off and that goes for all the flocked heads I've had done by others in the past. I constantly mix various adhesives with each other for testing, just to find a cheaper route. One of the latest samples that came in was awesome, but for that awesomeness (if that's a word) it costs $200 a pop. Not something the everyday collector wants to spend. Shit, I would buy more Joe's instead. Granted, if you bought $500 in flock and $1000 for a unit, then $200 for adhesive you may not have to worry about raising humidity or adhesion, but I talk to people who deal in flocking or automotive, clothing, carpets, etc. and they still deal with similar issues, which makes me think it's just part of the process. In the end I like the link because of it's ingenuity.
