Here I go doing something I said I would never do...patch work. This one is right where the cleft of the chin would be.

There are some figures that aren't that bad and small patches do the trick. I would rather fix a small spot than strip everything when the hair is almost perfect. I just fixed a Sea Adventurer as well and it looks great. Mixing the flock with Ray's different colors really helps.

I have to say, it can be a pain is the ass, but I will go with a patch job also for heads that have small spots or even good hair, but balding beards. If you take your time and work on one spot at a time- with a good blending trim with the clippers after, many patches work out excellent. On that note excellent work on the patching. It's always worth the shot. At least if you are not happy with it you could reflock it.

I've found that you pretty much have to use the clippers after a touch up. My big thing is I'm color blind and mixing the patch colors and people can't see where the patch is...that just amazes me that I can do that . Keeping in mind Orange is a bugger of a color for me to work with, the other big one is green & brown...but I don't have to worry about that with flocking hair anyway.
