Never trust that any electric item is safe all the time. I always treat electricity –no matter what form- with respect. I always expect it to be dangerous. Don’t use electricity near liquids without some kind of safety precautions. Don’t guess at wiring. Example: you’re making a flocker, but when you cut off the end of the power cord you find the wire colors are different . Don’t just guess at which one is hot, neutral, and ground. Sometimes they have no color codes. I say this because I’ve cut open wires and found brown, blue, and green- not black, white, and green. People in the know will read this and quickly say, Brown is hot, Blue is neutral, and Green is ground , but to most people , this is not something that they need to know on a daily basis. Best bet do some research first if you plan to use any wires that are not color coded like the given instructions and even at that, search multiple times to make sure what someone is stating is true. Don’t trust anyone or me (for that matter) without doing some research yourself. Building these flocking units is second nature to me, but it’s only because I’ve tested them, destroyed them, and failed with them at times . I always buy two of most items (when affordable) so I can gauge the item against itself if there’s a problem. Example: I’ve bought two cordless dewalt drills. One lasts longer than the other- always- Even when you swap out the batteries- one will last longer in the field than the other. They are the same drill, but they do not act the same in use. Just be safe in what you are doing- always!!!!
