I do that at times! You know many years from now they may be out there being sold as vintage.

Nice looking pics Rob.
I still have my view master reels of GIjOE...I think it's one of the only toys I had left that mom never sold or gave away.

Thanks. I plan on doing more action shots outside.
My wife and I have an old view master and reels from the 70's. They did a good job with all the 3-D stuff.

I've actually tossed the idea around of doing a scene from one of those reels, and haveit as a dio on one of my shelves. I also like how they did the water in with the aerial recon shoot.

I have more restorations pictures coming soon. My computer is having problems at this time and I'm unable to attach any photos. My big thing right now is trying to collect the original outfits and accessories for the Adventure team GI Joe's. Some outfits are cool and others are plain. It's hard to find nice original outfits for a good price. I've pieced some together that look brand new. I'll do some more action shots with these new restorations.
I also flocked some atomic man figures to match the Palitoy Atomic man color. One I added some 70's sideburns that look wild.

hi, im herrkamel, with my first post,Just to say i've had the idea of trying to flock my figures for a long time now, but never knew how it was done. To be honest I did not know it was done by a mains plug in unit , so after looking at the plans for making a flocking tray I think i'll give it a go. Im sure I can build a nice box but the wires well ...the result may be shocking !!! Looking through Rob1's photos in this post I seen the Six Million Dollar Man as Father Christmas. Fair play he looked mint !! Cheers Kamel

The Six Million Dollar man was one of my first re-flocks. I had an extra head so used it for practice. If you follow Ray's plans for the flock box, it will work excellent. I built the box in 2 days from products at the hardware store. When I flock I use 30 minute epoxy and put plenty of humidity in the air. If you have high humidity you'll be fine. Ray's flock is the best and he's very helpful with any questions.

I bought my son his own group of GI Joe's to play with. He just loves looking at the originals in the case. When he hears me open the case he comes running ready to play. Attachments:

Awesome! Awesome!
Robert this is what it's all about.
I wish Hasbro would look into this because if I take out a bunch of Joe's and let's say, the Training Tower or ATV. My son and his cousins go nuts and I'm the hero for have this cool stuff. Heck, even the girl cousins join in on the action.
Great picture!

Rob,
I like the display case of your Joes. Is that a Mego Spider man car I see there...?
It's always great to see others collections.

Yes that's a Spiderman car. I collect the toys that I would've played with during my childhood(Megos, Joes, Matt Mason etc.). I have a good variety. Some are stored in boxes in my basement. I bought the case at ekia and have another one still not built. In my next home I'm planning a toy room/office. I'm also going to have a ho slot car track & ho train set layout as well. So when I have room I'll display more. I'll try to get a photo of this case and the other stuff in it.

Here's my Sea Wolf Sub from 1975. This was my last GI Joe item given to me for Christmas. This was a very cool toy that worked really well. I tested it in my pool but that wasn't good enough. My brother and I took it to a creek near our house and tried it, but it was too shallow. We ended up making a damm and raised the water level a couple feet. We left the damm and actually cause a huge flood the next day. I don't think people knew we did it but the damm was taken down. My brother and I were always having fun doing this stuff. Attachments:
