Doc Flock,
I was wondering what is the root cause for Joe baldness? Is it thier genetic make-up, wearing a hat too long, perspiration from ones hands, or a bad day at the factory? Did they get their hair applied on a Monday or a Friday?
Thanks, Jay

It could be misses, dimples, epoxy blush, poor mix, dirty hands, age, and wear.
I know I’ve seen all of the above with reflocks and flocking. The main thing is prep in my opinion and even with that sometimes-odd things happen.
A clean, non-greasy, non-waxy surface. Paint free and rough is ideal.
The temperature, humidity or lack of, even other chemicals in the air.
I do know some vintage heads wash clean with warm water, others come off clean with alcohol, some peel off almost in one big piece... then there are a few here and there that you can soak in everything and they finally have to be picked off tiny bit by bit and it takes hours.
