Thanks. I too would cut the rivet in the middle and let both sides fall out. I don't have one to do here for a picture. From now on I need to snap a picture of everything. This is something like it! Attachments:

Well gentlemen I am happy to report that I have successfully removed the rivets on 5 pairs of arms and also separated 4 1/2 biceps. In the process I have misplaced 1 right shoulder, and I am going crazy looking for it I had great success by using a hacksaw to cut the rivet in half. Now all I need are the 2 MB kits to arrive and my re-flocked heads so I can get busy. If any one of you guys has a right MB shoulder, I will gladly take it off your hands. ;D

I'm glad the hack saw worked! I don't have any Muscle body parts. It will be hard to find any pieces for the muscle body. So try to find the missing piece. Ask Ray, he may have it. Rob

I will see if Ray has one or a member on another board has one. So my 5th MB Joe needs one bicep and my 6th one needs both biceps. It's all good, I only ordered 2 MB kits and I just sent Ray 4 heads. What is going to be fun looking for is a MB GI Joe Adventurer, being that I have a beautiful Adventurer head that desperately needs a body...lol.

Ray, Great pictures! I like the newer arms on the Muscle figure. Are those my dog tags on the muscle figures? Rob The good ones are. some are from another place. Sorry no MB parts around right now. They tend to get used right away. I sold off a few armless MB because I knew getting the pieces would be tough. I hope someone comes out with replacements at some point.

Ray, I hope Traud will cast the biceps and forearms. If he doesn't do it I'll try. He gave me some good information on some new casting products. I think people would buy them if someone could make them and look correct. Rob

Well I have enough complete MB Joes that require MB kits to keep me busy for a while. I guess my best bet is Ebay. Thanks Ray & Rob for all your help.

The cheap mans easy way. Very basic, easy to do, works just as good as the kit. Not much to explain just a zip tie and a piece of knotted cord. Glue it back and it’s done.

You can also tighten a loose fit with a bit of hot glue. It can take away the wobble that can happen from worn arm parts. Hell, some mold there parts from hot glue. Not super durable, but if the figure is shelf bound for display it could be an option. As I right this maybe a little hot glue would be useful around the zip tie from my sample at the beginning of this thread.

hi rob1 i use dremel wth thin cut off wheel have it on low speed to cut pin rivets goes between the forarm rivet slot well just wear glasses eyes all then when its cut th new pin rivet i use the same wheel as a grinder miny hald the new rivet and twist it on the wheel just enough so the new rivet drops in to the locateing hole instead of being to big and covering the outside hole i have a little vice with a flat puch the same size as the rivet dome cover it with cloth to place dome arm on and have the perfect size punch to spread the end one hit will do it maybe two at most
