I planned on waiting until I dug out the gear for this guy, but since our move to the new house I am still in disorder on some of my Joe loose gear boxes. This was made by member Toyman (Doug). I really can't say enough about how cool it is. He's really taken the time to make a quality item. I would suggest shooting him a message and get in on the ground floor of this project if you need one of these. I've only ever dealt with vintage Deep See Diver suits and we all know most if not all are dry rotted and maybe a few Hasbro reproductions, but Doug has made something very special here. The time and effort spent on it is readily apparent when the suit is in hand. Definitely next level stuff that I'm very happy with. Thanks Doug Ray

Wow, you know how to make a guy blush Ray. Thank you, I really appreciate that kind endorsement. I feel a little funny that this subject is my first post to the site. However, my next post will talk about some of the flocks Ray has done for me and my own concept of fuzzy headed Joes. I do not reflock myself but I have found this a fascinating site and have learned a lot about what goes into it. Ray has certainly led the way in his years of tireless research. I also was inspired by other contributors here. I'll talk more about that later.
As Ray stated, I am selling repop rubberized diving suits. I started researching them around 9 months ago because I like to create custom pieces and other hand crafted items. I saw a need/niche in making these. I vowed to do it right or not do it at all. So I took apart a junk 60s diving suit, cleaned it up, starched the pieces flat and made patterns off those. I use materials that approximate the originals as close as possible. There have been many, many test ones and failures. My missus sews these for me and they are quite difficult to pull off. Mass producing these would be hard to do at this point but if there is a demand, we will try to meet it. One thing is certain, it will not be sold if it doesn't meet my standards--at least as "perfect" as the originals were. Anyway, I will drop a photo here and link to the one suit I have for sale on Ebay so that you can see more of it.

Thanks for reading this if you got this far and I hope to speak with some of you folks later.
