So I've been flocking various things and bits but now I want to move it on a bit further by flocking logos and stuff, I've got a few pictures as examples of what I'm looking to do. I've tried doing this but it always ends up looking a mess, how is this done as free hand certainly dosent work. I notice the detail you guys flock in beards, heads etc and thought you could give me some advice. How are you guys applying the flock are you using mega small brushes?

I use 3 brushes. For me I start with a zero and work up. The work you want to do (to my mind) would require silk screening on to a flat substrate (cloth or vinyl) then the finished piece cut and fitted and glued in place. You Tube has a bunch of video on this being done on t-shirts. Outside of that I see it could be done with brushes, but I would guess some masking would be needed to keep the edges sharp. Spray equipment may be needed because an even layer of adhesive is key. Working on these toys there is a bit of forgiveness due to the sculpts and textures. The grounding also my have to match the shape of letters and symbols to be flocked.

Found out that a vinyl is used to do this, going by what I can make of it he sticks to vinyl to the dash then must cut away the area to be flocked or something like that?

I've seen all types, 20 kV to 15 kV to 12 kV. I ordered one from ebay that did not have output labeled and it came 4kv.
