I was recently asked by a Barbie collector if I was able to re-flock their vintage Barbie (apparently the #1-4 Barbies) and Ken (#1 Kens) heads.
I have flocked GI Joe's using the flocking kits here, using my self-built flocking cabinet.
However in looking at the early Barbie's and Kens, it appears the flock was much shorter than that on GI Joes.
I did a search on this board to see if any others had done this, but didn't find any results.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Is the procedure the same for these early Kens as it is Joe? Also, is there a different type/color /length flocking that is used?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! John

Hey John,
If you go to DonJer you can order the shorter rayon flock to get that velvet look the Ken dolls have.
The link is on the links page or you can just google DonJer and it will come up. Plus there are other suppliers if you web search flock fiber, flocking, or doll flocking.
